Electrical Industry Apprenticeship Program
The Kern County Joint Apprenticeship & Training Committee (JATC) is currently accepting applications for the Inside Electrical Wireman Program. The Inside Electrical Wireman Program is a five-year training program incorporating on-the-job training and supplemental classroom related instruction. All applicants must meet the following basic requirements and provide the following documentation.
BASIC REQUIREMENTS
- Must be a minimum of 18 years of age at time of application
- Valid Driver’s license or other Government-issued Identification
- OFFICIAL, SEALED IDGH SCHOOL TRANSCRIPT or GED Equivalency
- OFFICIAL, SEALED TRANSCRIPT showing one of the following:
A. Two semesters of High School Algebra with a passing grade of “C” or better
B. One semester of College Algebra with a passing grade of “C” or better
C. Successful completion of the NJATC On-Line Tech Math Course - Must be able to read, write and speak the English language
Applicants meeting the basic requirements will be given an application that must be filled out IN PERSON Monday thru Friday 2:00pm to 4:00pm at the:
